Introduction

Since 2003, the Royal Scientific Society (RSS), the Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), Ecosys and Sustainable Business Associates (SBA) have been cooperating in promoting Cleaner Production, Environment Management, Environment Resources Management, Environmental Economics and Entrepreneurship in Jordanian industries, and have thus developed excellent academic and practical expertise in these fields.

The partners have realized the need in Arab countries for establishing specialized postgraduate courses to enhance practitioners' competence in the environmental field. This Environmental Technology and Management Master program is designed to achieve this important mission and provide Jordan and the Arab region with a core group of skilled and well-trained practitioners to address adequately the environmental challenges of our region.

Environmental Technology and Management is a central component to improving the environmental performance by bridging the gap between the economy and the environment and integrating social/human well-being in the development processes.
